This weekend ..is.. the superbowl. I don't know if this matters to you guys... :)
Well RDS if the front means wind rain and cold I can deal with the latter 2 the wind might depend on if IR has sheltered areas. What's it like there (I've never been)?
Awesome, Critter see ya there

Hey Guys,

I'll call RDS this morning. I'm working Sunday but I'll give RDS detailed information. The area I'm talking about is Bear Point in FT Pierce. Very good Kayak access and you will be fishing within minutes of launching. RDS and Capt Jimbo each have my phone#. Feel free to contact them to get my #. Leave me a message and I'll call you back ASAP. If anyone calls me it would be a good idea to have Top Spot map # N216 handy. It's the one that says "ft pierce to vero beach area"

Weather is looking too windy and unpredictable to justify a long road trip. Tim's mainly available on Saturdays anyway, and the whole point is to head out with someone who knows the area. I might just paddle upwind for excercise tomorrow morning if it doesn't look too bad.  :)

There's a large group camping/kayakfishing out of Flamingo next Thurs-Sunday and then the Chokoloskee paddle-in on 2/24.

Hmmm... OK. It makes sense on all fronts (no pun intended) to wait. Are you going on the fishing/camping thing to Flamingo, why next Sat couldn't work?
Perhaps we can arrange a road trip for early March on a Sat so Tim can come and show us his turf. Are you guys game for something like this? Earlier in the month would be better, as I would like to try for the Osprey Bay tournament later in March. Tim, thanks again. It would be much cooler to do it on a day when you are able to go. RDS-- Happy upwind-ing!

Hey Guys,

Yes. Just about any Saturday in March that the weather cooperates I'll be up there. I'll be doing a lot of pre-fishing for the DOA tournament in june. I have to get used to DOA products since I'm mostly a topwater guy. Contact me when you're ready.

I'll be fishing in the DOA also. I might stay at the fish camp with the wife so I can get right to it in the AM.

Hey Phoneman,

I've already reserved my room at riverpalm for the night before and the night of the tourney. That place is great.

Tim, I sent in my payment today. I would like to get in some practice up there, Maybe we can meet in Jensen sometime. I think I'll book a room for the family. The guys at DOA even told me about a good spot right by the camp to fish, I have a friend from Melbourne coming down also.
