Critter ... thanks for the advice. See, those are the kind of things I don't know. I need a Yoda or at the very least an r2d2. Then, once I learn all the ways of the force I 'll cut off all your arms and control the universe... lol.

But seriously, I did read a post somewhere that "this is the Dark Side of fishing". Once you begin Yak fishing you can never go back.

As I was leaving Holland yesterday I paused for a while and watched all the "power boaters" putting in. I thought to myself " Oh, the circus must be in town". The scene was truly frightening. Nothing scares me more than clowns.

Never get out of the boat.

I went to West Lake yesterday around 6:00pm  The tide was all the way in, and so was Fishhead's sneaky fish.  I saw him tailing and got off a few casts with no results.  I was using a doa cal bait in mullet color on a hook with a weighted shank.  If anybody has any lure suggestion for WL, I would greatly appreciate it. I also just finished a livewell with an Atwood aerator and three rod holders, but I have no idea how to post the pics.  I guess I could use some suggestions in that dept. as well.

(Capn's Note:  you have to find a place to park your pics, which you can then link to using the "image" button when posting your reply.  In a pinch, you can also write me and we can make other arrangements for your pics)

you gonna throw from the yak? I can't wait to see that. There were a lot of mulli there this morning. You can pretty much drift right into the middle of them .. but you already know that.

I got three humongous strikes there today with a gulp sardine .. all three times the bait got spit out. One of em took me on a ride for a while but alas ... and then I was trolling with the outgoing drift down a narrow tunnel and it sounded like Rosie O'Donnell did a cannonball behind me when it hit but alas ... then right where I saw sneakyfish I got hit again but alas....

dude, you gotta help me.

Never get out of the boat.

I'm heading back to the east side today, if all goes as planned, (return the rental van today by 4), I'm going South to Convoy tomorrow and fish with some derelicts... you interested in trying a new location ?

Gauranteed all the small cudas you can handle.
