I agree. I loved the Dag when I first saw it, believe it's English if I recall. There was a discussion here at the forum bout this interesting design...

Midway: 14'5" x 25.6" x 50 lb., 13.4" depth, little rocker, fuller (toward the end),appears to have sponsonlike chines, modified vee hull.
Disco: 14' x 25.6" x 50 lb., 13" depth, plenty of rocker, finer entry, true modified vee hull. No chines, smooth transition.
BTW, I originally reported the Disco at 45 lb. My error and apologies (confused it with the RTM Baia Sport, a near twin to the Disco). But ya could have fooled me when I tested it.
ps... Pal, the 220 lb paddler test was last week, ocean conditions. The advanced paddler was able to push the design, try to bury it, etc., found the Disco quite competent, no issues at that weight.
