The mullet schools are runnin again, and for how long who knows. But while they do the action can be amazing for tarpon, snook, jacks, blues, etc.
The big issue, as always, is your lone lure or mullet getting lost in the huge schools. The key is to cast near, but not in the schools so your bait stands out. Live mullet can be hooked through the back or tail so you can pull them off balance, make em sink below the crowd. Remember tarpon are scavengers.
If anybody else has some tips, let em roll...
