It was bound to happen. Yup, at posh Hutchinson Island a Palm Beach County Prosecutor bit, er, was bitten by a shark while surfing on Tiger Shores Beach (I'm not making this up, lol).

In all seriousness the surfin prosecutor said he felt a "tug" on his right forearm, realized what happened and paddled in.  At least 10 people rushed to help, called the squad, applied a tourniquet and raised his arm to reduce blood loss.  He continues to have sensation in his fingers, so it is hoped he will suffer no permanent paralysis.

Best wishes to Adam McMichael of Boynton Beach for a speedy and complete recovery.
