Lights out... I mean like somebody turned it off.  Been fishing the New River with real consistant luck for the past four weeks and it's been pretty good for bass.  Hit it today for about 3 hours - not one bass.  Did catch and release about ten talapia on a small 1/4 oz. green and white spin bait - hey these guys have shoulders on light tackle - but not one bass.  Sorry, Krash, if I sent you out there for nothing.  Did you make it to the bombing range?

Thing One,
No I did not get out, woke up Sundy morning feeling like crap.. did not even pick up a rod.
If I had gone I would not hold you responsible for a bad day of fishing. I've fished that area for about 20 years now, my son and I forged some of the trails through the woods to get to the dyke crossing before the trail bikers started hitting them. I've never had any success in the lakes in the park itself, except for small bass in the lake farthest west where they race the RC boats.

If I'm out there it would be a multi-colored mainstream Renegade on the roof top or walking the banks, and Old-guy, usually wearing a nike-soccer bsaeball cap, long gray stache..
