Where are you hunting the snakeheads.. I've yet to catch one, fortunately I don't think they've reached the C11 areas yet, but buddies get them in Coconut Creek C14 adn Tamarac canals.

ooohhh yeah....there in the canals in coc. crk. , Margate, Coral Springs.  Largest I have caught was in C. S. Pinebrook point pond

about 6lbs...prob. 5 1/2lbs.  also big ones in front of Coc. Crk. High School....   They move slowely thru grass n weeds near shore...if they see you...they bolt...soooo..see them first.  Nice initial run..then some gator death rollin.(try not to let yer line get wraped around body when rollin)...then another run.   I have heard that they are very good table fair..(considered a delicasey in china)...scuttlebut that is

When I was in China last year the locals took me to a place for lunch, the had tanks and tanks 3 high along the wall with different kinds of fish, several species of snakeheads or similar. MAny differnt kinds of coy, carp, eels, and other stuff.

You point out the fish ya want, the cook nets it and whacks it on the floor, heads back to the kitchen comes back in a while with lunch for 8.

in Japan..I drank a glass of water with a freshwater ell in it...thats what I call fresh sushi.  I guess I had one sake too many:p

If I catch a Snakehead , it never swims again. It becomes Turtle food.  I cut one open to see what it eats and found a small Turtle inside   .There are alot of them in Tamarac.   It seems like the more I see of them ,the less I see  Bass
