Here's to Rick Willoughby and the HPV boyz...

I've not posted in a long, long time and for good reason. I said everything that needed to be said about kayaks, paddling and design. But occasionally something comes along that lights even my tired eyes.
Rick Willoughby has spent years creating and improving, and building some state-of-the-art designs. How bout this one...
1. Top speed: 19 mph. You read that right.
2. Length: 19 feet
3. Beam: 6-1/2 feet
4. Beam Waterline: 10 inches
5. Power: prop, what else?
For the flip-floppers out there, Rick's props are highly efficient (as should be obvious), can be reversed, and are easily drawn out of the water for paddling or deweeding.
Live with it.
