Welcome to our new and very improved forum. Sheesh was it ever a trip to learn how to find, install, modify, customize and administer a real forum.

And what a forum it is!  Stumbled on this almost by accident, but it offers more features and cool things than any other forum I've seen, as you are soon to discover.

Some preliminaries.

Be sure to visit "my account" where you can enter personal info to share with others, including a pic and an "avatar" (a little pic or logo that appears on all your posts), and your own personal "signature".

It's also possible to PM other members, develop your own mailing list, even have your own notepad.  And lots more which I will be posting in this section as time goes along.

Again, welcome.  And remember this is a no bullshit, idiot-free forum.  Keep it brief, keep it on topic and make personal replies personal not public.

Ciao baby.

I'm new to answering any forum and I would like to get a pic on. How? I have a OK Malibu II xl and it's set up for me, as I'm a larger guy. I was at the Adventure Times Kayak Demo over the weekend and saw the Prowler 13. Nice, but I'm partial to mine already. Haven't had anyone but me in it and I have it set for fishing with little alterations...yet!

Hey Solar1,
Thanks for posting and welcome!

Posting pics?
Take a look at "Tips on using this board", under the "Shaddup n read dis... if ya can"
Jimbo outlines how to do it.
Good luck with that, as I still have to send mine to Jimbo to post for me. :glare:

Maybe you could give us a review of your OK Malibu II XL?
We could sure use more kayak reviews from the guys who are stroking them.

Good luck and good fishin!
 :p

Hi ya'll,
I'm kinda near Florida, living here in Mobile, AL.  Retired here from the Air Force in '94.  Both the wife and I fish; we both have Ocean Kayak Drifters.  We take them everywhere from the very shallow water way up in the Mobile Bay Delta, to out in the Gulf near the oil rigs.  We've been yak fishing for about three years now, and I'm looking forward to learning, and sharing, tips and tricks to become a more efficient fish-killer.  Yeah, we eat what we catch, use it for bait, or live release it.  Kathleen (the wife) has even got me to live releasing hardhead cats, which is kind of alien to my nature.

ya'll be good,
wajdi
